In the days of our youth when this song originated I would never have dreamed that this song would keep in our minds for over 44 years; #alwaystogether Baby I love you.

Three years ago when l wrote my first comments my husband of forty one years was diagnosed with lung😮 cancer and COPD, my children and l didn't watch him die from cancer but COPD. COPD is cruel also, at the end when he was put in hospice when he couldn't breathe was so sad, l am happy he raised his children, they were 35 and 42 and he got to see his grand kids all that we going to get, we played this song a lot, l love and miss him so much, my daughter and l call each other when it gets to hard to breathe, our hearts hurt so much, but we keep God in our lives and he lessens the heartache

This is when music 🎶 was great, not the mess that they have today, back in the day, each song had meaning to our young lives,weather we just met someone, breaking up with someone, dealing with a broken heart, or just chilling 😂

My Daddy played this song for my mom. I am crying so hard. My dad passed away and Mom is so hurt. I will love you Daddy ALWAYS. You guys' Love is my hope.
